Frankie Thomas. I build websites for trades.

Your website, rebuilt so people ask you for a quote.

I do this for roofers, plumbers and heating engineers, electricians and builders across the UK. Before I email you, I've already rebuilt your homepage. You look at it, and if you like it, I build the rest.

Free to look at. Nothing goes live without your say-so.

£600 to £900 to build it, then £40 to £60 a month to keep it going.

Before and after

A plumber's website, fixed

Based on a real plumber's site I found. I changed the name, the town, the photos and the wording, so it isn't theirs. The faults are real.

The old site on a phone: the whole desktop page shrunk down, text far too small to read
Before on a phone
The rebuilt site on a phone: big headline, a call button and a quote button
After on a phone
  • You couldn't read it on a phone. The whole page shrank to fit, so the text was tiny. Now it's built for phones first.
  • The phone number was a picture. You couldn't tap it to ring. Now there's a call button at the top and one that stays on screen.
  • No way to ask for a quote. Just an email address on another page. Now there's a four-box quote form on the home page.
  • It looked like it had closed down. The footer still said 2011. Now it's up to date, with the work up front.

The price, and what you get for it

One-off build

£600 to £900

Depends on how many pages and how much of the writing I do.

Then per month

£40 to £60

Hosting, the quote form, and I fix anything that breaks.

  • A website that works on a phone. Built for the phone first, so it's easy to read and the number is one tap away.
  • A quote form that reaches your inbox. Name, phone, what the job is. It lands in your email straight away, not in a folder nobody checks.
  • Your photos and your jobs. The work you've done, in your words. No stock pictures of other people's houses.
  • A search-friendly page. Title, description and headings set up properly, for searches like “roofer in your town”.

How it works

  1. I look at your site and rebuild the homepage

Using only what's already on your site. You don't have to do anything.

  2. You have a look

If you reply, I'll send you the link. If you don't, that's fine, you won't hear from me again.

  3. I build the rest

Send me your photos and tell me what I've got wrong.

  4. It goes live on your domain

You pay the setup, then the monthly. If something stops working, you email me and I sort it.

Why I'm emailing you

I'm Frankie. I set TheWebSnagger up to do one thing: rebuild the websites of small UK trade firms that have outgrown the one they've got, or never had a proper one.

I'm building this to give my family something of our own.

I'm at the start. So instead of asking you to trust a portfolio, I show you your own homepage done properly, with your name and your town on it. If it doesn't look better, tell me where I went wrong.

I won't ring you to sell. Email me at frankie@thewebsnagger.co.uk and I'll answer it myself.

Email me

Tell me your firm and the town you work in. I'll have a look at your site and I'll email you back myself.

WhatsApp me

frankie@thewebsnagger.co.uk

You'll only hear from me about the site. Reply “no” and I won't email again.
